I’m Hannah—

an award-winning dog portraitist. My portraiture has been recognized by New England Monthly Magazine, The Providence Journal and, most notably, The Westminster Kennel Club, by whom I was awarded winner of the 140th Annual Westminster Dog Show Poster Competition with a painting of a leaping American Staffordshire Terrier. To date, I have painted over 150 commissioned portraits.

I work in my studio in Providence, RI, and received my M.F.A. in Painting from The New York Academy of Art in 2015.

Getting a portrait commissioned of your dog is simple: photos and written descriptions are all I’ll need. Each painting is made with oil paint on canvas. Framing and shipping are extra and can be arranged by me. Please start a conversation with me to receive a full price sheet.

Your commissioned portrait will be executed using an Old Master technique, revealing a pet that is ennobled, distinctive and rich with spirit.

(And … speaking of the “masters,” — see my latest expedition into human portraiture.)
